How we use your data

We use your personal data to respond to your enquiry, provide a quotation, discuss the work, and carry out any work you ask us to do. We do not use your data for marketing unless you have agreed to it.

Lawful basis for processing

Who we share your data with

We use the following service providers to run our website and handle enquiries:

• Netlify for website hosting
• Resend for sending enquiry emails
• Google Fonts for font loading
• Google, for Google Ads conversion measurement when you consent to advertising/tracking cookies
• Twilio, our business telephone provider, which handles calls to and from our business phone number

We do not sell your personal data. We only share it with others where necessary to respond to your enquiry, provide the work, or fulfil a shop order.

Telephone calls, call recordings and voicemail

When you call our business phone number, or when we call you back, we keep a record of the call, including the date and time, the phone numbers involved, how long the call lasted and whether it was answered or missed. We keep this call history so we can manage enquiries, call you back and keep our job records accurate.

Call recording. Where call recording is enabled, you will hear a spoken disclosure before the call is connected, and you can ask for the call not to be recorded by pressing 2 during the disclosure. Calls made through that option are not recorded. We may use recordings to help us manage enquiries and jobs, for example to check what was discussed or agreed.

Voicemail. If we cannot answer, you can leave a voicemail message. The message is stored by our phone provider and played back only by authorised staff through our secure admin system.

Our phone provider. Calls, recordings and voicemail are processed and stored by Twilio Inc. and its group companies, which provide our business phone service. Audio recordings are kept only for the retention period we have configured and are then deleted. You can read more about how Twilio handles data in its own privacy statements.

Your rights. You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you (including call records), ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it, using the contact details above.

How long we keep your data

We keep your personal data for as long as necessary to deal with your enquiry and any work we carry out. After that, we delete it securely. If you would like to know the exact retention period that applies to your data, please contact us.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data. You can also object to processing and request a copy of the data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, please contact us using the details above.

If you are not happy with how we handle your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority for data protection.

Cookies and tracking

We use Google Ads conversion measurement to understand whether our advertising generates enquiries, such as contact form submissions or calls. This uses a Google tag (loaded from googletagmanager.com) which sets advertising/tracking cookies only when you choose to accept them.

When you first visit, advertising storage is denied by default. If you click "Accept" on the cookie banner, the Google tag is allowed to use advertising and analytics storage to measure ad performance. If you click "Reject", these permissions remain denied and no advertising cookies are set. You can change this choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Microsoft Clarity or other analytics tools. We do not currently run remarketing or personalised advertising.
