Signs Your Frames Need Resealing
Draughts and water around frames
Failed perimeter seals allow water and cold air to enter. We strip the old mastic and reseal the frame.
Cracked or shrunken frame mastic
Old sealant can shrink, crack or lose adhesion. We remove it fully and apply a suitable replacement sealant.
Staining before redecoration
Preparing window and door frames for painting often means removing old, loose sealant and resealing cleanly first.
Failed conservatory frame sealant
Conservatory frames and perimeters are exposed and can fail. We remove the failed sealant and reseal the joints to keep them weather-tight.

The sealant is matched to the frame material, substrate and exposure. Not all silicones are suitable for every frame.
Apply and tool
The new sealant is applied and neatly tooled for a clean, weathertight seal.

Common Questions
Should I reseal my windows before or after painting?
Sealant should be applied after any painting that changes the finish, but the old mastic may need removing before redecoration. We can advise on the right sequence for your job.
Can new window mastic help prevent water ingress?
Resealing the frame perimeter can address a common point of water entry where failed sealant is the cause, but water ingress can also come from failed pointing, roof issues, damaged frames or other sources. We assess the cause before quoting.
Do you work on commercial glazing?
Yes. We reseal commercial window and door frames, including glazing perimeters and curtain walling details where appropriate.
Do you colour-match the mastic?
Where it matters, we can select a sealant to match the frame or existing finish as closely as possible.
