Industrial & Commercial Sealing

Commercial Mastic

Mastic and sealant work for main contractors, facilities managers and developers across Liverpool and the North West. We remove failed sealant, match the product to the substrate and programme, and keep commercial sites weather-tight and ready for handover.

Our Process

1

Site assessment and scope

We visit or review photos, drawings and specifications to understand the joints, substrates, access and programme. High-level or restricted-access work is identified at this stage.

2

Quote and programme

We price from the information provided, whether that is photos, drawings, approximate linear metres or a site visit. The programme is then agreed around your operations or construction schedule.

3

Access and safety planning

For high or difficult-to-reach work we plan the right access method, which may include rope access, MEWPs or scaffolding where appropriate. We work with an established qualified rope-access team for high-level repairs.

4

Preparation and removal

Old sealant is fully removed and surfaces are cleaned back. Joints are primed and backed where the sealant system requires it.

5

Product selection and application

We select the sealant based on the substrate, joint size, expected movement, exposure and manufacturer or specification guidance. The bead is applied and neatly tooled.

6

Handover and records

For commercial sites we can provide the site records, risk assessments, method statements and photographic records that contractors and property managers need.

Common Questions

Do you work with main contractors?

Yes. We regularly work with developers, main contractors, facilities managers and site teams on commercial and construction projects.

Can you work on live commercial sites?

Yes. We are used to working on occupied and live sites and can coordinate with other trades to keep disruption to a minimum.

Can you quote from drawings or photos?

Often. Clear photos, drawings, specifications and approximate quantities help us build an accurate quote. Larger or more complex sites may need a site visit.

What information do you need to price a project?

Useful information includes the type of joints, approximate linear metres, substrate, joint size, access requirements, programme and any product or specification requirements.

Do you provide insurance documentation?

Yes. Public liability insurance details can be provided for commercial and site-based work. Method statements and risk assessments can also be prepared where required.
