How We Reseal It
Identify the failed joint
We check the extent of the failure and whether it is localised or widespread, and whether resealing is the right repair.
Remove old sealant
All old material is removed back to the substrate. Patching over is not a long-term repair.
Prepare the surfaces
Surfaces are cleaned and primed where required so the new sealant bonds.
Apply and finish
The correct replacement sealant is applied and tooled to a neat, durable finish.

Our minimum booking value for domestic sealant work is £90. Larger jobs are priced based on the work required — the £90 minimum is not added on top. Most domestic jobs can be priced from a few clear photos, so you know the cost before anything is booked.

Common Questions
Can failed sealant cause water damage?
Failed external or bathroom sealant can allow water to get in at the joint, which may lead to damp or water ingress. However, the exact effect depends on the location and the building construction. We assess the cause before resealing.
Do you replace sealant or just cover it?
We fully remove the old sealant and reseal from a clean surface. Covering over old sealant usually fails quickly.
Is resealing always the right fix?
Not always. If the damp or leak is coming from another part of the building, such as failed pointing, roof issues or damaged frames, resealing the joint will not solve it. We check the cause first.
Do you carry out repairs for landlords?
